Naim G. Shaheed, DPM, FACFAS, attended Barry University of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, FL, and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1989. After acquiring his podiatric medicine doctor degree, he completed the Hialeah/Palmetto Residency Program, Hialeah, FL. In addition, Dr. Shaheed received board certification in podiatric medicine from the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. And he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the American College of Sports Medicine. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an undergraduate degree acquired at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. A resident of Snellville, GA, Dr. Shaheed dedicates his spare time to karate and scuba diving.
